“Eloise was literally friends with everyone,” her mother shared in an emotional interview with reporter Steve Noviello. “She loved spaghetti, but not more than she loved dogs and animals. She had a family who loved her fiercely for the 8 years we were blessed to have her. Especially her Mommy.”
Eloise was just 8 years old when her life was tragically cut short by the unforgiving floodwaters that swept through the beloved Texas summer camp. She wasn’t alone. Her best friend and cabinmate, Lila Bonner, also lost her life in the same heartbreaking event.
